The magic of Magic Mike is leaving the screen and coming to you LIVE in a Las Vegas show at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino March 2017.

In his first ever Facebook Live video, Channing Tatum announced the expansion of the Magic Mike franchise followed by another video by Cosmopolitan.

“We want to create a place for women that is their gentlemen’s club, their Playboy club,” Channing said in a report by The Guardian. “It shouldn’t be sleazy. [You shouldn’t feel] nervous to go there because you feel unsafe; we want to create the polar opposite of that.”

During his video announcement, Tatum revealed he will not be playing the role of his Mike Lane character in the Vegas show. In fact, he wont be in the show at all. Tatum is set to direct the show alongside some of the choreographers from the original films.

Magic Mike has been a special and very personal project for me, and this show is a natural extension of that,” Tatum said. “So while I won’t be on stage as Mike, Magic Mike Live Las Vegas is my vision and I’m looking forward to spending a lot of time in Las Vegas creating something that will give women what they really want.”

In his Facebook video, Tatum encouraged women to post their comments about what they would like to see in the show. Now, women can do that at the official site including up to date information about the show, cast and ticket information.
