CHICAGO — Two Chicago-area schools are on the list of Best Colleges for Women.
The University of Chicago and Northwestern University in Evanston were chosen by a Florida organization called Women’s Choice Award.
The group surveyed 1,500 schools and came up with a top 10 list based on issues important to women.
Criteria included four-year graduation rate, student to faculty ratio, educational depth and campus safety.
U. of C. was ranked No. 2 and Northwestern was ranked No. 6.
The University of Pennsylvania was ranked No. 1, Columbia University was No. 3, Yale University was No. 4 and Georgetown University was No. 5.
