You really haven’t lived until you’ve heard Christmas songs on a ukulele.  Once a year, ukulele fanatics in the Chicago area don their flashing lights and felt accessories and head to a quaint café right off the Eisenhower.

They say it’s a happier way to spread a little holiday cheer.

Every Thursday night- year round- the Eastgate Café in Oak Park hosts the Harrison Street Ukulele players.

WGN sent it’s resident guitar player Steve Sanders to check it out.
