Teachers end strike in District 300

School’s back in session Wednesday for thousands of students in District 300. The teachers’ strike in the far northwest suburbs is over just one day after it began.

More than 1000 teachers across 15 communities in District 300 took to the picket line this morning.

Late Tuesday night, the two sides reached a tentative 3-year agreement.

The walkout affected 20,000 students in schools including,  East and West Dundee, Carpentersville, Algonquin and other areas.
