CHICAGO -- Surveillance video shows the chase that led to a deadly police shooting.

The Independent Police Review Authority released three videos from November 23, 2016.

It shows Kajuan Raye running away after a squad car pulled up to him and Chicago police Sgt. John Poulos chasing him.

A dispatch recording was also released.

An involved officer radios to dispatch, "Shots fired by police, he's got a gun!"

Poulos would eventually shoot Raye in the back, but one of the released videos show that.

In his report, Poulos said that Raye did not follow verbal commands and pointed a gun at him twice.
But no gun was ever found.

Police Superintendent Eddie Johnson relieved Poulos of his police powers pending the outcome of IPRA's investigation.
