Tentative deal reached, strike averted for UNO Charter School Network

CHICAGO -- Teachers at one of Chicago's largest charter school networks reached a deal around 3 a.m. on Wednesday to avert a strike.

The 16 UNO Network Charter schools will be in session on Wednesday after a tentative agreement was reached.

The issues between the charter teachers and the Charter School Network were similar to the CTU and CPS contract battle.  No word yet on the details of the agreement.  Check back for details.
