CHICAGO — After 25 years of service in Chicago’s Lincoln Park, Stanley’s Kitchen and Tap is closing its doors.

Stanley’s Kitchen announced the closure on Facebook, saying they could not meet terms with their landlord for extending their lease.

The Facebook post says the restaurant’s owners are looking at alternate sites in Chicago for their “next home.”

“Thank you again for allowing us to be a part of your community and by including us in so many moments in your lives, from celebrating birthdays, to singing karaoke, to just enjoying that good ol’ fashion home cookin’. We are forever grateful for your support,” the post says.

The restaurant’s last day will be on Sunday, April 1.
