A grandma was so impressed by an Idaho State Trooper’s attitude and professionalism she decided to write the department a thank you note.

According to KBOI in Boise, Idaho, Tana Baumler was on vacation with her husband and two granddaughters when she was pulled over for going 95 mph in a 75 mph zone.

KBOI reports State Trooper Mike Nielson gave the kids stickers and little sheriff badges.

Baumler’s letter said the following:

“Dear Idaho State Police, Recently I was on vacation with my grandchildren and was pulled over for speeding. Officer Mike Nielson made it a good experience for my grandchildren by talking with them calmly and giving them stickers. He didn’t leave me out and I got my very own STICKER SHOCK :) Thanks for a great attitude.”

Baumler’s sticker was a little different—a $150 ticket.
