SYCAMORE, Ill. — Chicago Blackhawks goaltender Scott Darling got a new tattoo to celebrate the team’s Stanley Cup win.
Tattoo artist Michael Figueroa with Spider Tattooz in Sycamore sent WGN these photos.
Figueroa said it took four hours to complete the first session of Darling’s tat that features the Stanley Cup, the Chicago flag and skyline.
If you look close you can see a “CR” on the cup, that is to honor Clint Reif, the Blackhawks’ assistant equipment manager who passed away during the season.
And Figueroa also did a tattoo for Darling’s father. WGN was told he showed it to his son for the first time Monday in Lemont.
