CHICAGO — A North Side restaurant and catering business is celebrating 10 years serving wonderful American cuisine.

First Slice Café is a huge hit not just because of the quality of the food, but also because of the company’s mission.

When restaurants or businesses donate food to the needy, most of the time it’s the food that is leftover.  That is not the case with First Slice Café.

A highly successful business that started in a church basement, they make sure that those in need are taken care of first.

There are many ways you can volunteer for First Slice Café.  There are locations on the north side and a fourth opening in Evanston.
