Man dies after found with gunshot wound in Block 37 restroom

CHICAGO — A man who was found shot at the Block 37 building in Chicago’s Loop Monday has died, police said.

Shortly after 10:30 a.m., a 24-year-old man was found with a gunshot wound to the left side of his chest inside a Block 37 business restroom. He was transported to Northwestern Memorial Hospital, where he died a short while later.

The Block 37 high-rise, located at Washington and State, houses several businesses as well as apartments.

The investigation is on-going.
