GARY, Ind. — The remains of a body found in an abandoned house in Gary last October, possibly the victim of an accused serial killer, have now been identified.

WGN has confirmed the remains are those of Tracy L. Martin, 41, formerly of Gary.

Lake County, Indiana officials are not saying if Darren Deon Vann is suspected in her death but Martin’s body was found in the area where he led police to the bodies of six women he confessed to killing.

Authorities have charged Vann with the murders of two of those women.   Authorities are still working to identify two more bodies that were discovered in October.
