ZION, Ill. -- Family, friends and activists from across the Midwest and beyond gathered at the spot where a 17-year-old Zion boy was killed by local police one year ago today.
Authorities said the shooting death was justified and that only minutes before the trouble started when Justus Howell tried to buy then steal a stolen gun from another man.
Nonetheless, as Patrick Elwood reports, Howell's family says they will not give up their fight to have the officer fired at the very least.
