WASHINGTON — It’s not over until it’s over.

President Obama still has 15 days in office until he passes the baton to the incoming administration.

But today, WGN’s Muriel Clair had a conversation at the White House that was far more personal than political.

In the next few days the president will be putting the final touches on his farewell address. His head speech writer told WGN News a draft is on his desk right now, awaiting his edits, which he prefers to make on a yellow legal pad.

And President Obama will  deliver that speech next week in Chicago
