CHICAGO -- A possible lightning strike caused damage to a building on the city's North Side Wednesday.

The building at 1501 W. Morse Ave., which houses the Common Cup coffee shop on the ground floor and apartments above, was damaged after a quick-moving storm barreled through the area. No injuries were reported.

A Northwestern graduate student who was in the coffee shop when the incident happened said he's glad no one was hurt.
