The Pope’s visit to the typhoon-hit area in the Philippines was cut short.

Pope Francis had to leave four hours ahead of schedule yesterday because of an approaching storm.

During his arrival Thursday he spoke to crowds before traveling to the far east to comfort survivors of the 2013 typhoon.

Tomorrow, Pope Francis will lead an outdoor mass that six million people are expected to attend.
