CHICAGO — Bernie Sanders is bringing his campaign back to Illinois.
On Friday Sanders will visit Southern Illinois University Edwardsville.
He’s expected to stick with his campaign message asserting a political revolution. Sanders is pushing to get big money out of politics, combat climate change, ensure universal health care and make public colleges and universities tuition-free.
He’ll also once again highlight Illinois’ budget impasse. SIU Edwardsville recently cut two sports teams due to a lack of funding from the state.
