CHICAGO -- The Chicago’s mayor race is not the only race that will continue in April. 19 Chicago aldermanic races will meet again in instances where candidates did not get enough votes yesterday to win outright.

Two prominent political families came-up short.

Alderman Deb Mell will race a runoff in the 33rd Ward against challenger Tim Meegan. And Patrick Daley Thompson, Mayor Daley's nephew, will have to take-on opponent John Kozlar in Bridgeport’s 11th Ward.

35th Ward alderman Rey Colon was the only incumbent who was beaten outright.
