Chicago police believe there’s a connection between two fatal shootings on the South Side.

They say the same two men are responsible for killing 74 year-old Willie Cooper and 41 year-old Eric “Guitar” Davis during attempted robberies.

Cooper, a retired CTA worker and church deacon, was killed back on December 19.

Davis was found about a half hour later just a few blocks away.
