The Chicago Police Marine Unit pulled a body from Belmont Harbor Thursday morning, and police say it may be that of a missing college graduate student.

The body was spotted around 9 a.m. near 3500 N. Belmont Harbor Dr., according to police. It was described as a black man in his 20s who was fully clothed.

Authorities have tentatively identified the victim as Christopher Evans, 25, of Evergreen Park.

Evans was last seen early Sunday morning leaving Roscoe’s at the corner of Halsted and Roscoe.

His family offered a $2,000 reward for information that leads to him.

Authorities are waiting for Evans’ family members to confirm the identity.

An autopsy is scheduled for Friday.

A missing person alert that had been issued for Evans was canceled shortly after the body was found. Police said Evans was “no longer unaccounted for.”
