A pick-up truck was swallowed by a sinkhole Thursday night on Chicago’s South Side in the 9500 block of South Commercial Avenue.
Two people were reportedly inside the pick-up. One had to be pulled out by firefighters.
The hole is said to be about four-feet deep and the truck is wedged below its hood.
95th Street is now closed in both directions.
Police say the sinkhole may have formed due to a water main break.
