MARSEILLES, Ill. — Several viewers have been reporting flooding in parts of Marseilles, Ill.

Marseilles is located in LaSalle County, roughly 77 miles from Chicago. Portions of the county were under a severe thunderstorm warning earlier Saturday, as storms have been hitting the outskirts of Chicagoland. Viewers in Marseilles have reported everything from cars being submerged to property damage.

LaSalle County Sheriff’s police report several flooded areas, including I-80

WGN-TV viewer Jeanne Knudsen shared the photos in the gallery above. Knudsen said the rains late Saturday afternoon flooded her property. She said a creek behind the family’s property flooded in a very short time and it seems to be rising.
