CHESTER, Ill. — Drew Peterson has been ordered to testify at a hearing on the fate of his police pension.

The Bolingbrook Police Pension board is considering cutting off Peterson’s $79,000 per year payout because he was convicted of murdering his third wife, Kathleen Savio.

The board wants to know whether Peterson used any of his police training to kill Savio.

Peterson’s lawyer doesn’t want his client to testify, and says he might plead the fifth when his hearing comes up at Menard Prison.
