BRITISH COLUMBIA, Canada — An optometrist from British Columbia claims he’s invented the ultimate corrective lenses.

Dr. Garth Webb’s device is called the Ocumetic’s bionic lens.

He claims it allows you to see three times better than 20-20 vision without wearing contacts or glasses at all.

According to Ocumetic’s website, the lens looks like a small button.

It’s implanted in the eye during an 8-minute, painless procedure, similar to cataract surgery. It’s folded like a taco and placed in the eye using a syringe filled with a saline solution.

In about ten seconds, the lens unravels over your eye and your sight is immediately corrected.

It could be available by 2017.
