CHICAGO — Two Chicago police officers were injured after a vehicle struck their squad car Saturday on the city’s South Side.
The officers were in the 6300 block of South Wentworth Avenue in Englewood around 9:45 p.m.
The vehicle ran a red light and hit the squad car.
The officers were taken to the hospital in fair condition.
The driver of the vehicle that ran the light was taken into custody.
