MORTO GROVE, Ill. — A 72-year-old woman is in serious condition after being struck by a vehicle in Morton Grove Sunday night.
According to Morton Grove police, a car was travelling southbound on Harlem in the 9200 block when it struck the woman in the roadway.
The woman was transported to Lutheran General Hospital with serious injuries.
The driver is currently in custody pending further investigation.
