PARIS — French Investigators may examine a piece of an airplane wing that could be from a missing Malaysian jet Friday.

It has a number stamped on it that matches a part number in the manual of a Boeing 777, the same kind of plane that’s believed to have crashed into the indian ocean.

American intelligence suggests that Flight No. 370 was intentionally diverted from its original route, from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing.

Nearly 240 people are believed dead.

What appears to be a battered suitcase was recovered, not far from the plane wreckage.

It’s still unclear whether it was a suitcase from Flight No. 370.
