Police said no weapons, explosives found in Neuqua Valley High School after evacuation, threat

NAPERVILLE, Ill. — Police said they found no weapons of explosives after an evacuation at a western suburban school following a threat on Tuesday.

Neuqua Valley High School in Naperville, located at 2360 95th St., dismissed class around noon to allow police to investigate a potential threat against the school. All extracurricular activities were cancelled for Tuesday.

Naperville police said they did not find weapons or explosives during their search of both the main and freshmen Neuqua campuses.

Police said they were investigating into the source of the threat.

No one was injured.
