EVERGREEN, Colo. — Firefighters in Evergreen, Colorado rescued an elk Friday after it fell through a frozen pond.
In a Facebook post, the Evergreen Fire Protection District said people saw the elk and did the right thing by calling 911.
Video shows firefighters helping the elk out of the pond.
Evergreen is a southwest suburb not far from Denver.
