COAL CITY, Ill. -- The National Weather Service will examine the damage from the tornadoes in Coal City in the hopes of measuring their strengths.

There are six different levels, and some communities in Illinois have been through some of them before.

An EF0 hit Summit in May 2015. It had winds of 65 to 85 miles-per-hour.

An EF1 struck Plainfield in June 2014.

An EF2 hit Coal City in November 2014. That had winds of 111 to 135 miles-per-hour.

An EF4 nailed Fairdale in April 2015 with winds of 166 to 200 miles-per-hour.

As for the latest twisters in Coal City, they're expected to register at an EF2 or EF3.
