Police in Naperville arrested two women who tried to stop wireless electric meters from being installed at their homes.

A video showed one of the women yelling at two installers outside her home, and repeatedly told them to get off their property.

The city says it’s installing “smart meters” on 57,000 homes to make the electric system more reliable and efficient.

The group “Naperville Smart Meter Awareness,” say the wireless meters can be a health hazard.

The group has a federal lawsuit pending against the city.
