Three-year-old Lance Wilson was shot and killed Sunday afternoon in Michigan City.

Zachariah L. Grisham, who is the boyfriend of the child’s mother, is being held in the La Porte County Jail awaiting a probable cause hearing that is scheduled to take place Monday. He is facing potential charges of Neglect of a Dependent, a Class A felony, and Reckless Homicide, a Class C felony.

The shooting occurred inside a mobile home in Terrace Acres.
