MEMPHIS -- A parent is outraged over what she believes is a satanic symbol in the brake lights of school buses in Cordova, Tenn.

It's a pentagram -- an upside down five-pointed star often used as a magic or religious symbol -- and the angry parent wants the lights replaced.

Memphis television station WMC spoke with Jo Applewhite, who has been practicing Wicca 16 years. She says the pentagram is their cross, or Star of David, and says it can be used for good.

She won't deny it's also used by satanists, but she thinks people are making a whole lot out of nothing.

WMC reports that the school district did not answer questions about the bus brake lights.
