LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Authorities across several states are searching for a 13-year-old girl and her 18-year-old boyfriend.

The two have been connected to several burglaries and stolen vehicles. Several media outlets have called the couple a “modern-day Bonnie and Clyde.”

Cheyenne Phillips was reported missing after running away with her boyfriend, Dalton Hayes, who was apparently due in court on charges of burglary and theft.

Phillips’ mother Sherry Peters reported the pair to the authorities, and says she just wants her daughter back.

“Just please come home, please come home, we can work through whatever that it is,” Peters said.

Phillips and Hayes have been connected to crimes in Kentucky, South Carolina, and Georgia.

According to police, they are in possession of a gun.
