Metra train jumps tracks in West Loop

Investigators are looking into why a Metra train jumped the tracks in the West Loop.

Two cars came off the tracks as the Metra train made its way into union station Monday evening.

There were no injuries, and no passengers were aboard the train at the time. Other trains were able to make their way past the derailment site.

Amtrak is also looking into the accident because the incident happened on their property.
