Samson the Cat was just named the biggest cat in New York City, and is now going for a world record.

Samson is the “Fabio” of cats, a 4-year-old feline who weighs 28-pounds and is 4-feet long.

Samson’s owner insists he is healthy just naturally portly. His owner says Samson is a ladies man, who likes to wrestle and play but is secretly tender when nobody’s watching.

The cat currently listed as the Guinness World Record holder for size, has passed away, making Samson a serious contender for the title.
