A panel of experts now recommends primary doctors screen all children ages 8 to 18 for anxiety, even if there are no symptoms. 

Dr. John Walkup is the head of child psychiatry at Lurie Children’s Hospital and is part of the recommendation panel. He joined WGN Evening News to speak with Medical Watch reporter Dina Bair about the recommendation.
