As the number of people in financial crisis grows amid the pandemic, there is a hunger for help.

The Northern Illinois Food Bank is popping up in the most unlikely places.

On a recent day in Lisle, Community Unit School District 200 in Wheaton volunteered to staffed a food bank pop-up.

The Northern Illinois Food Bank distributes 220,000 meals a day.
