A man from Aurora entered a plea of not guilty to animal hoarding Tuesday after authorities said they found even more birds in his townhouse where they found over 300 live birds back in October.

57-year-old David Skeberdis was charged after an additional dozen birds were recently discovered in his home by authorities.

In late October, 300 birds were removed from his house as well as about 120 dead birds.

Also Tuesday the Greater Chicago Cage Bird Club of Villa Park began putting the birds up for adoption.

Adoption prices begin as low as $10 dollars.
