CHICAGO — A man who was questioned after a South Side fire killed four people last month has been taken back into custody, the Chicago Tribune reports.
Three young sisters, ranging in age from 7 years old to 3 months old, and a neighbor were killed in that fire on 81st and Essex on Aug. 23.
Investigators say the blaze was deliberately set.
Despite the Tribune’s report, authorities will only confirm to WGN that a person of interest is being questioned.

The man’s family acknowledged earlier he had argued with someone in the building over money owed for cigarettes.
They denied he had anything to do with setting the fire.
