OAK LAWN, Ill. —   A popular but troubled Chuck E. Cheese’s in suburban Oak Lawn could lose its license after another violent incident.

A 26-year-old man claims he had just left the restaurant, located at 4031 W. 95th St. in Oak Lawn, and was driving east on 95th near Springfield Avenue in Evergreen Park Saturday night when he was shot.

A spokesman says there’s no connection to the restaurant.

The aftermath was recorded on cell phone video.

Since 2011, Oak Lawn police have responded to more than 300 calls and made more than two dozen arrests at the restaurant.

Oak Lawn will hold an emergency meeting at 6 p.m. Wednesday at village hall to discuss the issue.

Chuck E. Cheese’s put out a statement saying it is cooperating with police and has taken measures to protect customers.
