CHICAGO -- A 23-year-old man remains in serious condition Saturday after being shot in an Ashburn neighborhood cell phone store Friday night.

The man was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center with a gunshot wound to the chest.

One of the owners of Exclusive Wireless at 87th and Kedzie witnessed the shooting.

He says the 23-year-old walked in and was going to pay a cell phone bill.  He then says another man walked in and the two immediately started fighting. Not long after the fight began the suspect pulled out a gun and shot the 23-year-old.

The owner says it happened so fast he wasn't able to get a good description of the suspect.

There's surveillance video, however, that police are looking at. So far no one is in custody.
