CHICAGO — Disturbing video posted online shows five people beating a 49-year-old man on Chicago’s West Side.

As they attacked him, outside his car — some people yelled taunts about him voting for Donald Trump.

The man told the Chicago Tribune it all started from a traffic altercation, and that there was no way for any of the attackers to know he voted for Trump.

The attack happened at about 1 p.m. Wednesday at Roosevelt and Kedzie after a black sedan scraped the side of the man’s car.

“I stopped and parked. And I asked if they had insurance, and the next thing that I knew they were beating the s— out of me,” the man told the Tribune.

As he was attacked by three young men and two women, others yelled at him for voting for Donald Trump for president.

He was treated for his injuries at a hospital and was released.

Police are asking anyone with information about the suspects to contact them.

South Side Pastor Father Michael Pfleger posted a statement regarding the video on his  Facebook page calling it “unacceptable.”
