CHICAGO -- Police have identified the man killed in a hit-and-run in Humboldt Park Thursday morning.
Jimmy Lispier, 42, was struck at on the 4000 block of West Division Avenue around 3:15 a.m. Thursday. He was found unresponsive in the middle of the road. An undamaged bicycle was also discovered at the scene.
People who live and work in the area said that stretch of Division is dangerous and dark at night and needs traffic signals.
Police said investigators are searching for surveillance video. They have not released a description of the vehicle involved in the hit-and-run.
Anyone with information is asked to call police.
