Man in custody after shots fired at police in Rogers Park


CHICAGO — A man was taken into custody after Chicago police officers said someone shot at them in Rogers Park.

The shooting happened around 9:30 p.m. Tuesday night in the 1500 block of West Jonquil Terrace.

Officers did not return fire and no one was hurt. Police said they recovered a weapon.

Area Three detectives are investigating.

No further information was provided.
