Man faces felony charge for infecting girlfriend with HIV

Chicago police are holding a man for knowingly infecting his girlfriend with HIV.

Police say Johanson Little has been HIV-positive since 2003.

The couple’s year-long relationship ended in June of last year; in February, the woman tested positive for HIV; she says Little was her only sex partner during their relationship, and she hasn’t had sex since they broke up.

Little is charged with criminal transmission of HIV, a class 2 felony; he is being held on $750,000 bond.
