FEDERAL WAY, Wash. -- A reluctant hero has come forward in Washington state.

Police posted a video online, in hopes of finding the man who saved a 4-year-old boy that was about to run into a busy street.

The man was stopped at an intersection, when he saw the boy coming. He threw his car into park, jumped out and grabbed the boy.

Once police arrived, the man drove off.

The video was viewed thousands of times before the man finally came forward.

He says he didn't think his actions were deserving of any special praise.

But, police and the boy's parents disagree and they thanked him in person.
