52-year-old Steven Zelich has been charged with two counts of hiding a corpse, according to Walworth County Sheriff’s Office.
Zelich was arrested Wednesday for questioning about the bodies that were found June fifth by highway workers, as they were cutting grass along a road near Lake Geneva.
One of the victims has been identified as 37-year-old Laura Simonson of Farmington, Minnesota.
She was reported missing last November.
Police are asking for help to identify the second victim.
She was 15 to 35 years old, 5’2 to 5’4 and weighed between 120 and 140 pounds. She had long, straight dark brown or black hair. According to authorities, she had an overbite, crooked lower teeth, two piercings in each ear, and a heart tattoo on the abdomen.
