Well, here’s a first. Former Secretary of State Madeleine Albright is on a Wheaties Box.
What is typically known for showcasing superstar athletes like Michael Jordan, Muhammad Ali and Tiger Woods, the company is expanding their definition of champion. According to their website, “On the 21st century, there’s a new transformation taking place. With the rise of Internet and millennial culture, the very definition of the word “champion” is changing.
When CNN reached out to General Mills, they said they placed Albright on a commemorative Wheaties box, noting “she is definitely a champion in her field.”
Albright tweeted, “Just finished my breakfast of champions. Thank you General Mills!”
