CHICAGO — After the 19th driest January on record in 145 years, Chicago is getting hit with a wintry mix of precipitation.
Light snow, sleet and rain are making for slippery driving conditions in the northern portions of the Chicago area Tuesday morning.
Elsewhere, rain is spreading into our region from the southwest.
Precipitation should change to all rain with a few embedded thunderstorms possible later Tuesday afternoon.
